In a delightful surprise, Warner Bros. Pictures dropped the new trailer for The Batman, titled "The Bat and The Cat." The two-minute, 38-second video features Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, and he is joined by the Catwoman, played by Zoe Kravitz. The trailer also gives a glimpse into the love-hate relationship and how often they just don't see eye-to-eye with each other.

The trailer begins with Pattinson's Bruce Wayne speaking with Jayme Lawson's Bella Reál, who accuses Bruce of not doing enough for the city despite his wealth and influence. As she speaks, scenes of him as Batman doing exactly what she says he doesn't do enough of are intercut. It then shows The Riddler, played by Paul Dano, who leaves an ominous message for Batman and even video chats with him.

Selina Kyle, played by Kravitz, appears soon after, and the sequence also shows Batman the slew of adorable stray cats that she owns. In the trailer, Kyle is heard telling Batman that nobody will stand up if we don't. She also adds, "The Bat and the Cat has a nice ring to it."

The premise of The Batman reveals that during Batman's second year of fighting crime, he pursues the Riddler, a serial killer who preys on Gotham City's elite. During the investigation, he discovers corruption that has ties to his own family and is forced to form new alliances in order to catch the Riddler and bring the corrupt to justice.

Matt Reeves' The Batman, produced by Warner Bros. Pictures, stars Robert Pattinson as both Gotham City's vigilante detective and his alter ego, reclusive billionaire Bruce Wayne. Along with Pattinson, the film also features Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright as the GCPD's James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as mayoral candidate Bella Reál, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.

The Batman is set to hit the big screens on March 4, 2022.
