The series will premiere on December 29 on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar. It will be available in four languages in India - English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The makers had earlier shared the poster of the series where Boba Fett is seen sitting on Jabba the Hutt's throne, hinting at the continuation of his journey from where they left in The Mandalorian season 2 finale end credits. According to NDTV, The Book of Boba Fett has been described as The Mandalorian season 2.5, which is why it's airing between The Mandalorian season 2 and (delayed) season 3. The team has even treated The Book of Boba Fett as the third season of The Mandalorian.
The series begins when the next Marvel series Hawkeye wraps up its six-episode run, on December 29.
