Since its release in 2019, Amazon Prime Video's superhero show The Boys has been blowing minds. The series is well on its way to releasing the third season after two successful ones, and fans and viewers are gobbling up all information they can get until the next season is released.

Eric Kripke, the show's producer, has pushed all the norms and advanced it to the next level by including blood, killing, exploding bodies, and gore in the action. Despite the fact that there is no end to the extremes, it appears that Jensen Ackles' new role has gone a little too far. The actor is due to play as the Bad Superhero Soldier Boy in the upcoming season of The Boys, and audiences are thrilled to see his unique look. But he was shocked by some of the things he was asked to do in the programme as the newest recruit.

The producer recalled one of the scenes that the actor just refused to do. In his statement, he said Jensen told him that as a father of three, a son, a husband, and a self-respecting person, he can't do something like this. “I didn't know where my line was, but you found it," he had told the producer. Eventually, they figured out a solution where Eric got what he needed without him crushing his sould.

Audiences are thrilled to see the next season, in which more supervillains are causing mayhem, and The Boys' commander Butcher appears to be one of them. While you wait for the next season, you can stream the first two seasons on Amazon Prime Video. The upcoming season of the superhero show features Nick Wechsler, Katia Winter, Sean Patrick Flanery, and Miles Gaston Villanueva. The makers will release an episode each week, starting on June 3 on Amazon Prime Video.
