The Boys, which gives us a dark and gruesome look into the world of superheroes, is backed with its much-awaited third season. Actor Nathan Mitchell, who plays the mysterious Black Noir on the show, has now talked about what to expect from his character in season 3.

Talking to Pinkvilla, the actor said that we will keep learning more about Black Noir and that as the season goes on, fans will get a deeper look into the superhero's heart.

"This season, we also examine deeper pieces of his background, revealing a fresh side to him. We get to glimpse inside his head: he has some demons, things he thought he'd let go of but hadn't, and as a result, he has to make some difficult choices," added Mitchell.

Mitchell was also asked if fans would get to see Black Noir without his mask on to which the actor replied that we would have to wait and watch the third season.

Black Noir, who is part of ‘The Seven’, is an enigmatic character, who is as dangerous as it gets. However, the second season ended on a low for Noir, after he was taken out by Dominique McElligott’s Queen Maeve using what seems to be his only weakness, Almond Joy candy.

The latest season will reportedly adapt “Herogasm”, which is a long episode from the comics about a graphic superhero orgy. Actor Karl Urban also recently said that he has seen things in the latest season that he cannot unsee.

The show also stars Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles. The first three episodes of season three of The Boys is now available on Amazon Prime Video.
