Since its release in 2019, Amazon Prime Video's superhero show The Boys has been turning and bursting heads. The series is well on its way to releasing the third season after two seasons, and fans and viewers are gobbling up all the info they can get before the next season is released.

Eric Kripke, the show's producer, has pushed all the rules and taken it to the next level by including blood, killing, exploding bodies, and gore in the action. Despite the fact that there is no end to the extremes, it appears that Jensen Ackles' new role has gone a little too far.

The Supernatural actor is due to play the "Bad Superhero" Soldier Boy in the upcoming season of the series, and fans are excited to see his new look. He was shocked by some of the things he was asked to do in the series as the newest recruit.

The actor declined to film one particular scene during one of his meetings with showrunner Eric Kripke, telling him that he couldn't do it as a father of three, a son, a husband, and a self-respecting human being. Kripke had no idea where Ackles' line was, but they discovered it. They figured out a solution where the producer got what he needed without losing the actor's soul.

Fans are ecstatic to see the next season's red band teaser, in which more supervillains are wreaking havoc, and The Boys' commander Butcher appears to be one of them. While you wait for the next season, you can watch the first two seasons exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

Starting on June 3, 2022, the third season of The Boys will be available on Amazon Prime Video in episodic form. This is set to be the penultimate season, and fans are truly impatient to watch the season.
