The Broken News S2 – Shriya Pilgaonkar intensely watches her chemistry with Sonali Bendre in the Zee5 show

The Broken News season 2 is finally out and before it came on Zee5, the cast happened to host a screening and watch the movie before the world. Shriya Pilgaonkar was among those and looking at her character on the show, as a proper fan of the series, she had an intense look. This appeared to be in the scene with Sonali Bendre, who tries to reason with Shriya’s character.

In a video shared by the makers, one can see how Shriya Pilgaonkar views her character and especially her scene in the Zee5 show. She has an intense look on her face as the actress watches her character on the big screen with everybody present. Her eyes are glued to the screen as a scene between her character Radha Bhargava comes at crossroads with Sonali Bendre’s Ameena Qureshi. The latter can be seen giving Radha advice on how to be a good journalist by keeping personal emotions aside.

Akshay Oberoi was also seen at the screening and in the second season of the series. His expressions were also captured and he had something similar to Shriya’s. Wearing glasses, Akshay had a pokerface while watching the scene, as though he too like Shriya was intensely observing the storyline and inevitably, his own character on the show. After the show’s screening came to an end, Shriya had a happy face and Akshay gave a thumbs up.

Reactions at the screening

Everybody present had loud applauds as the show came to an end. This resonates with what people are feeling about the Zee5 series (with some calling it better than the first season too). Supriya Pilgaonkar went on to praise her daughter and said, “Radha Bhargava sach mein kisi se nahi darti.” After the screening, Shriya caught up with Sonali with a hug and kisses on the cheek.

The show also features Jaideep Ahlawat in the role of Dipankar Sanyal. The Broken News season 2 is now out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium.
