Dipankar Sanyal's evil strategy for success in The Broken News S2

Today, ZEE5 gave a thrilling sneak peek in which Dipankar Sanyal (Jaideep) is seen threatening someone by saying, “You don't know who I am. I will destroy you.” Later, he introduces himself as the mastermind behind Josh 24x7 news channel. He clearly says that he established Josh 24x7. Again, he seems terrifyingly angry, threatening someone that his problem is that he doesn't forget anything. Ahlawat’s performance will give you chills. And fans of the series can't wait to see him reprise his role in season 2.

The Broken News Season 2 will continue to explore the vicious competition between the lead characters, Ameena Qureshi (Sonali Bendre), Dipankar Sanyal (Jaideep Ahlawat) and Radha Bhargava (Shriya Pilgaonkar). The competition between 2 renowned news channels, Awaaz Bharati and Josh 24x7, spills over from the newsroom, blurring the lines between professionalism and personal connection.

What to expect from The Broken News Season 2

The official trailer for The Broken News Season 2 opens with a scene of Radha Bhargava (Shriya Pilgaonkar) declaring that she will throw dirt back at Dipankar Sanyal after he called her a terrorist on national television. As the trailer continues, it shows us how Dipankar is a master at adding ‘masala’ to news. However, Ameena Qureshi (Sonali Bendre) is seen trying her level best to maintain the balance of sticking to the facts and not mixing anything false to make it ‘masaledar’.

Season 2 seems to focus on Radha’s finding out explosive news, but she is unable to bring it to the table because Dipankar has some evil plans. She suspects Sanyal might exploit it and take all the credit. This tremendous race for TRPs will take audiences on another rollercoaster ride, with many deadly challenges.
