After 25 years, Salman Khan and Karan Johar are reuniting for a high-profile action movie, helmed by Vishnuvardhan. According to reports, Salman Khan will play a paramilitary officer in the movie, which is based on a true story. Originally, it was scheduled to begin production in November 2023 and be released on the big screen over the Christmas weekend in 2024. According to official accounts, the muhurat shot will take palce on December 29.

Vishnuvardhan wants to commence the journey on this film on a blessed note and given that his conversations with Salman and Karan started in 2023, he wants to end the year with a mahurat pooja, according to sources close to the entertainment portal PinkVilla. The event is scheduled to be held tomorrow (December 29) in Bandra, Mumbai, the source revealed.

The insider further stated that The Bull's main filming will commence in February, and set construction will begin in mid-January. Several big sets will be erected around Maximum City in an attempt to authentically portray a bygone era. Salman has given Karan bulk dates, and he will shoot from February through August.

The insider claims that although shooting was originally scheduled to begin before the New Year, the company decided to put extensive pre-production first. They want to start filming after everything is finalised. As a paramilitary officer, Salman Khan's action scenes in this movie will be different from those in his other films. The Indian Army is the main focus of the movie, which aims to fully respect their objectives and bravery.

The working title of the film, The Bull, is based on one of the most heroic missions ever carried out by the Indian Army. After the National Award-winning film Shershaah, this will be Vishnu's second Hindi feature as director.
