The third installment of The Conjuring series is slated to release soon and the makers of the film have shared the final trailer to pique the curiosity of the audience. The film revolves around the real-life story of Arne Johnson. The titular character is played by Irish actor Ruairi O’Connor.
Charged with murder in 1981, Arne plead guilty on grounds of being under demonic possession. The case soon gained popularity in the US owing to his statement.

The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It gives the viewers an insight into the case. The film navigates the story of Arne, his felony in murdering his landlord, presenting that the Devil made him do it in court and eventually being convicted in the murder case.
The film also brings back paranormal investigators Ed (Patrick Wilson) and Lorraine Warren (Vera Farmiga). The characters were introduced in The Conjuring, which was released back in 2013.
The couple was also the lead investigators in the Annabelle case, which also turned into a movie franchise. Both The Conjuring and Annabelle are considered parts of The Conjuring Universe, thus making The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, the seventh film in the horror universe.
The Michael Chaves directorial also stars Sarah Catherine Hook and Julian Hilliard in pivotal roles. The previous films in the series were directed by James Wan, who has written and produced this film.
The Conjuring has been one of the most popular and successful horror franchises. The second installment of the series became the highest-grossing film in the franchise, setting the bar of expectations quite high for the third one.
