Cai Heng and Nan Sheng's The Demon Hunter finally releases on Lionsgate Play (also accessible via OTTplay Premium) from January 2. The Chinese fantasy drama movie made its theatrical release in April 2025, and finally made its India debut in 2026. Together, the couple fight back against the ruthless Taoist and save each other. However, Lang Wuji is still under the evil spell that's turning him into a monster. His wife Ruo must find a cure to save her husband.

The Demon Hunter blends adventure and fantasy, highlighting Chinese folklore and heavy sword fights, focusing on their history and eternal love. While Cai Heng is seen as Lang Wuji, his wife's role is played by Lemon Li, and Feng Li Jun plays the evil Taoist.
