Kannada cinema’s Challenging Star Darshan’s fan following is such that even in his current incarcerated status, the team of his upcoming film The Devil have nothing much to worry. DBoss’ celebrities have been keeping the hype alive even in his absence and are gearing up to celebrate the release of the film. There’s not much that the team can do by way of promotions with the leading man not around, but they are doing their best given the circumstance. Two songs have already been released, an introduction song and a romantic number and now, with only a month to go for the film to hit theatres, they’ve put out a behind-the-scenes video from the making.

The Devil: Fans ask 'what's next?'

Fans, of course, were thrilled with the video, which included preparation and shooting sequences of an action block. But given that it’s been a month since the song Onde Ondu Sala came out, they were also in the mood for a little more. Several comments that came in response to the video were from fans demanding an update – of the trailer or the next song from the film. Considering that the film only has 4 songs, it remains to be seen if they will release another before the film hits theatres, or if the trailer is next.

The Devil director Prakash Veer (formerly Milana Prakash), has revealed precious little about the film so far, so a trailer would be the best bet. However, in one of his rare media interactions ahead of the release, he’d said that the film involves extensive VFX work, which would be completed only by mid-November. Given how often films face delays because of VFX issues, a trailer is, therefore, more likely to be available closer to the theatrical outing, December 12.
