John Abraham, who is making headlines for his movie The Diplomat, has made bold claims in a new interview. The actor claims that he has 'never felt safer' in India. This comes in contrast to the events that have occurred in the recent India. From rising (read repeated) number of cases against women to caste-based attacks, new India has made many people feel anything but safe. John believes it is because he is minority that he remains unaffected by any such incidents.

Here's everything the actor said...

John Abraham has 'never felt safer' in India

During an interview with Times Now, John Abraham claimed that he has 'never felt safer' in his country. He specifically pointed out that his mother is a Zorastrian (Parsi-Irani) and father a Syrian Christian. The actor was asked about 'minorities not feeling safe in India,' but John insisted that he has never felt more safe in India and it is probably because he is a minority like a Parsi, who are generally considered harmless.

"Safe probably because I'm an actor," says John Abraham

"Probably because I'm an actor, people would argue and say, Hey, listen, listen. You're an actor. You know, people would probably like you or dislike you for other reasons. But I'm a minority," the actor stressed.

John Abraham's comment on Ukraine-Russia war

John further went on to share his ideology on Russai-Ukraine war as well. The actor, who is currently seen in the movie The Diplomat, expressed he's a huge fan of Russia on record. He sided with them in the act. He mentioned that Russia had asked NATO to interfere in the matter for 30 years but since they went unheard, the act of war happened. Having said that, the actor states that he doesn't want people to die on either side. "Nobody was listening. Finally they did it," he said.
