Rohit Basfore, who is a part of the upcoming series The Family Man season 3, was found dead in Guwahati on Sunday, April 27, 2025. The actor's mortal remains were discovered near a waterfall in Assam’s Garbhanga forest. While murder is suspected, police investigation is ongoing in the case.

When discovered, Rohit Basfore was rushed to the hospital. It was there that The Family Man 3 actor was declared dead.
Rohit Basfore murdered by his family?
A report on Odisha Bytes claims that the actor's family members suspect he was murdered by some of his colleagues. However, there is no confirmation on the same.
As per the police, Rohit went for a picnic with nine of his colleagues when he might have fallen into the river. The incident is said to have taken place around 2 pm. However, a report was submitted around 4-4.30 pm. The mortal remains were later discovered by 6.30 pm. Earlier reports by the cops suggest that the actor ‘accidentally fell into the waterfall.’ No foul play is suspected by the cops so far.
