The world has not been the same ever since Manoj Bajpayee, at the OTTplay Awards 2025, in an exclusive conversation with us, ended up revealing that The Family Man Season 3 will hit Amazon Prime Video in November 2025. Not just that, he even confirmed Jaideep Ahlawat’s casting as the lead antagonist. While we have been busy counting days ever since, actor Sharib Hashmi, who plays one of the most pivotal parts in the show, has now opened up about the third season and where his character, JK Talpade, goes from here. Sharib Hashmi, who plays JK Talpade in The Family Man, in an interview, has spoken about Season 3 and how it only keeps getting better and bigger. The actor also spoke about transforming into Talpade, a man with a very visible Maharashtrian flair to him. He revealed how it was very easy for him, having grown up in Mumbai, and how it came organically to him. He also revealed that JK was originally supposed to be a Bengali character but was later changed to a Marathi man. As per Money Control, Sharib Hashmi said, "In season three, there is a lot of newness in my character. We will learn new things, have more fun, and the scale of this season is bigger than before. When people saw season one, they loved it. In season two, it was double the fun. And in season three, I can guarantee that the fun will be triple," as he expressed excitement about the forthcoming season.
Manoj Bajpayee Confirms The Family Man 3 Release Month
The Family Man 3 has been in the making for a long while now. It was confirmed that Jaideep Ahlawat will be joining the new season of the show as the head villain, who will be pitched against Manoj Bajpayee. But what remained unknown was the release date of the show. Some speculated that it would release at the end of this year, and it turns out that the show is indeed set to release by the end of the year, as Manoj Bajpayee has exclusively confirmed to OTTplay that the show will hit Amazon Prime Video in November.
When asked about The Family Man Season 3, Manoj Bajpayee said, “Nothing more than what is already out, but The Family Man Season 3 is releasing in November this year. You must have already heard in the news that there is a new inclusion in the show. We cast Jaideep Ahlawat in the show two years ago, and he has done very well with Paatal Lok Season 2. To our luck, he is there in Season 3 of The Family Man. The season is massive and very beautiful.”
