Season 3 of the action-thriller series The Family Man was teased on Thursday by Prime Video, offering fans their first look at what's to come. Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee, is a family man and an undercover spy. The original series continued to chronicle his struggles to juggle his domestic duties with his high-stakes intelligence career.
The forthcoming season of the espionage drama, produced by Raj & DK under their name D2R Films, will have new characters, increased action, and new dangers as the plot traverses more intricate political and emotional landscapes.
The script for Season 3 was co-written by Raj, DK, and Suman Kumar, with dialogue by Sumit Arora. Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth join Raj and DK as directors for Season 3. Later this year, Prime Video will premiere the new season.
This time, Srikant has to deal with perils that have their roots in both foreign conflicts and internal turmoil. The main antagonists, Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur, have joined the cast. Priyamani, who plays Suchitra Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, who plays JK Talpade, Ashlesha Thakur, who plays Dhriti Tiwari, and Vedant Sinha, who plays Atharv Tiwari, are all part of the returning ensemble.
The show's creators, Raj and DK, discussed the series' development and the next installment in a statement. They said that they strive to make each season more enjoyable than the last by improving the tale, expanding the scope, and enhancing the performers. The makers further shared that they appreciate the patience of their fans and promised that Season 3 will test Srikant and his team to their breaking point by immersing them in a dangerous world full of personal struggles that will test their relationships to the core, all the while Srikant deals with a new dynamic in his family.
With immense excitement, they have announced that Jaideep and Nimrat will be joining their cast as these fascinating adversaries. They are thrilled about the prospect of confronting formidable new adversaries. With the collaboration with the Prime Video crew, they were able to bring this new season to life.
The Family Man has been a hit with critics and viewers alike since its 2019 premiere thanks to its compelling stories, incisive writing, and realistic depiction of a regular guy's perspective on national security. It is anticipated that Season 3 will continue that tradition while increasing the pressure on its main protagonists.
