It might be time to move over Vijay Sethupathi's cameo in The Family Man 3. The makers have now revealed a new promo that has left netizens both puzzled and excited at the same time. This promo is a crossover between The Family Man and Paatal Lok, with Jaideep Ahlawat at the centre of it. In fact, Manoj Bajpayee's Srikant Tiwari also makes a cameo.
The promo begins with Jaideep Ahlawat's Paatal Lok character Hathiram arriving on a bike. Presuming that it is Rukma instead, two men on a chai tapri in Nagaland look at him with caution and whisper about how the attitude screams Rukma. Hathiram confronts them after noticing their stares.
Soon after, Hathiram receives a call. It is from none other than Srikant Tiwari. Hathiram tells Srikant, "Haan Tiwari. Bhai, tu underground reh. Main thodi bahut inquiry karta hoon, phir call karta hoon tujhe. Theekh hai?" He then pretends to be Rukma by faking a call where he speaks of violence.
The chai tapri person, confused about the identity, asks the locals if it is Rukma indeed. They warn him to stay mute and pick up speed in serving the information. Hathiram simply keeps things vague by stating, "Thaari meeting ho gayi ho ta de de yaar." He then gets a letter and while confused at first, he reads the information provided through the note. Stating 'Thank You,' he leaves.
This time around, the real Rukma arrives. "Laa de," he demands. Being his sarcastic self, he asks for the tea seller's sister only to correct him by stating to pass on the chit. The tea-seller confirms giving him the chit, and the locals affirm that the message was passed on. After stating that there's change in his hairstyle and clothing style, Rukma tells them, "Beta, humein na maal supply karna hai - khud nahi phoonkna hai." The local confirms that they all saw him ask for information and leave. Rukma, confused at this point, finally joins the dot. He then speaks to the camera and states, "Tum mein se kisi ne kuch information khola na, uska bheja main khol dunga." The video ends with Rukma smirking, almost confirming his next move.
Although the makers are hinting at a universe where Hathiram and Srikant Tiwari work together, the information is not confirmed to be a part of The Family Man season 4. Whether Srikant will join Paatal Lok season 3 also remains a mystery at this point.
Raj and DK's Raj Nidimoru is a true 'Family Man' once again. His family expanded as he got married to his partner Samantha Ruth Prabhu in Coimbatore earlier today. They confirmed the same with a beautiful post which also shares details of their engagement ring and more images from the wedding ceremony.
