Thus, the actor chose to sit out on The First Frost, which would have otherwise been a huge opportunity for him.

Back in Hidden Love, Victor Ma played the role of Sang Yan, the brother. His love story was not explored, and he was portrayed as the strict brother who is otherwise soft for his close ones. He nailed both aspects. Victor Ma portrayed the strict and always annoyed brother to perfection, but also won hearts with his soft blushes every time a scene demanded he show slight emotion.
