Bangarraju actor Nagarjuna, who impressed audiences in a rural avatar for Sankranti, will be at his suave best for his next, The Ghost, being directed by national award-winning director Praveen Sattaru. Sonal Chauhan plays the female lead in the film that also features Gul Panag, Anikha Surendran in key roles. Narayan Das Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and Sharrath Marar are bankrolling the film under Sree Venkateshwara Cinemas LLP and Northstar Entertainment.
The team behind The Ghost finished filming crucial portions from the film in the recently concluded Dubai schedule. Several stunt sequences, significant scenes, and a romantic number were shot in the schedule. An action sequence canned in the desert will be a major attraction for viewers; action junkies are in for a treat, claim the makers. The Ghost is being made on a lavish scale and never has Nagarjuna appeared so stylish in a film in the recent times as well.
Nagarjuna and the film's leading lady Sonal Chauhan are cast as Interpol officers in the film. Mukesh G handles cinematography for the film with Brahma Kadali coming on board as the art director. Robin Subbu and Nabha handle the action sequences. While Sonal Chauhan will also be a part of Venkatesh-Varun Tej starrer F3 this summer, the director Praveen Sattaru also confirmed his next with Varun Tej recently. Nagarjuna's major release apart from The Ghost in 2022, will be the Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt film Brahmastra.
