The Gone Game 2 trailer is finally out. The crime-thriller series stars Sanjay Kapoor, Arjun Mathur, Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Shriya Pilgaonkar in major roles. The Abhishek Sengupta directorial is set to be out on Voot Select soon.

The first season was shot during the pandemic that sees a death during the complete lockdown, meanwhile, the upcoming instalment dives into the post-pandemic world where secrets of the lockdown are exposed, and the Gujral family is under a new, more dangerous threat.

The trailer begins with Shriya's character coming out of jail and claiming that she will prove that her husband, Sahil (Arjun) is alive. The video further sees the actress threatening Sanjay, Shweta and Rukhsar to reveal their truth which leads to a scuffle between her and Sanjay and the veteran actor ends up killing her.

Furthermore, Harleen Sethi enters the video as a CBI officer and starts investigating the case. Later, the trailer sees Sahil alive, while Suhani is dead.

Talking about the series, Sajay Kapoor said at the trailer launch that the first part of the Gone Game was received well by the audience. "The gripping trailer has definitely gotten me excited, and I really hope that the audiences appreciate our efforts in Season 2," he added.

Meanwhile, commenting on the same, Shweta explained that the show challenged the creative side and the artist in her. She further mentioned that she always finds thrillers exciting and also very engaging and entertaining at the same time. "When The Gone Game first came to me as a concept, I was definitely intrigued. The cast is stellar – with Arjun Mathur, Sanjay Kapoor, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya - and when I read the script, I knew I wanted to be a part of it," she added.

Backed by the Bodhitree Multimedia, the crime-thriller also has Rukhsar, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Amit Jairath in key roles.

The Gone Game 2 will stream on Voot Select on July 7.
