The Great Indian Kapil Show trailer - Ed Sheeran recounts meeting Shah Rukh Khan, recreates SRK's iconic pose

Kapil Sharma's The Great Kapil Kapil Show has been receiving immense love from audiences since the time it started streaming on Netflix. After hosting multiple Indian celebrities, the show is all set to host the International Singer Ed Sheeran. The makers of the show dropped a trailer today revealing that the next guest on the show will be Ed.

The video starts with Kapil introducing the pop star and then it teases us with the exciting glimpses from the show. The singer will also be seen giving an exclusive performance for the lucky audience who are present at the show with his famous song 'Shape Of You'. The background Punjabi dancers added the 'desi' touch to the international performance.

When Kapil asks Ed about his visit to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat, he replies to him in Hindi reciting SRK's dialogue 'Aise bade bade sheheron Mein choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai'. However, his flawless Hindi shocks Kapil and then they both are seen performing King Khan's iconic open-arm pose. 

While the makers of the show have just released the promo, we can't wait to watch the entire episode and his insights into the visit to Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat.

When Ed visited India for his +-=/x Tour (Mathematics) at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai on March 16, Kapil shared a picture with the singer on his social media account and wrote: “We always love your songs @edsheeran but after meeting you we love you more ❤️ you are a sweetheart Can’t wait to show the World the humorous side of yours lots of love n best wishes always my friend ❤️.” At the time, Kapil also attended a party hosted in the honour of Ed.

Meanwhile, Netflix releases a new episode of The Great Kapil Kapil Show every Saturday at 8 pm.
