The Great Wedding of Munnes: Abhishek Banerjee calls working on the show 'an adventure'

Abhishek Banerjee is keeping busy these days and has a lot on his plate in terms of projects. But the star seems to take it all in his stride, putting a positive spin on his hectic schedule. The star recently opened up about his work on the upcoming web series, The Great Wedding of Munnes, which once again gives us a glimpse into his cheerful point of view when it comes to his work.

Abhishek opened up about how hectic the shooting schedule was for the same, revealing that the cast and crew did not get even a day off in between. But he put a cheerful spin on the situation, saying that it felt like an adventure. The star talked about how they had to face a lot of challenges during the course of the shoot, which covered multiple cities. The star had taken to social media recently to share a reel from one of the locations, Jaipur in Rajasthan, which saw him have a fun time with co-star Barkha Singh.

Speaking about the series creator and producer Raaj Shaandilyaa, Abhishek opened up about how much he admired the former’s vision for the show. He also credited the producer’s humour with helping him act, saying it was just what he needed. He also said he was in awe of Raaj’s witticisms, calling the latter one of "the funniest" people he had ever met.

The upcoming web series will mark Raaj’s OTT debut and is directed by Sunil Subramani. The series revolves around the story of a man who is willing to go to some extreme and hilarious lengths to be with the woman of his dreams.

A release date for the Great Wedding of Munnes is yet to be announced. It will premiere on Voot Select.
