The Western is a story of vengeance in the heart. The movie follows Nat Love, who rounds up his crew ready for a fight as he learns that his nemesis, Rufus Buck is being released from prison. Buck on the other hand has his own set of people who are ready to have his back. The two groups will go head to head as they look to fight it out for blood.

The Harder They Fall is one of the few Westerns that has an all Black cast as its principal cast. The movie is led by Jonathan Majors who plays Nat Love and Idris Elba who plays Rufus Buck.
Regina King, Zazie Beetz, Delroy Lindo, Lakeith Stanfield, Danielle Deadwyler, Edi Gathegi, Deon Cole, RJ Cyler and Damon Wayans Jr. are other members of the ensemble cast.
