The forthcoming HBO series 'The Idol' featuring The Weekend a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye and Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose Depp and BLACKPINK member Jennie has been the talk of the town, However, Jennie's inclusion in the show sent all of their fans called 'Blinks' into a frenzy.

But, now after the show is all said to be aired, many are criticising the actors of the upcoming series for it being filled with scandal and vulgar content.

'The Idol', which will premiere on June 4, had its first two episodes reviewed by Variety on May 23 and Blinks has been anticipating the series to just watch Jennie in it.

However, the tweet posted by Variety has since gone viral and many K-pop fans, even some Blinks have taken to social media to express their horror to see the scenes in the show.

Many have even requested that young fans should not watch the series just because their favourite artist is in the show.

However, there are some who are calling out the criticism and saying Jennie is an adult and it's o for her to act in such shows.

The show is a collaborative project by Abel, Reza Fahim, and Euphoria's creator Sam Levinson.
