Remember that heartthrob from the iconic musical drama, High School Musical (2006) film series? Yes, that's Zac Efron. That chocolate boy has now grown into a handsome man, who is rocking Hollywood with projects like - Baywatch (2017), The Iron Claw (2023), and the recently released, Ricky Stanicky. Ever since he kept aside romance-drama, and began doing some action-thrillers, or hard-hitting stories, the 36-year-old actor has captured a special place in his fans’ hearts.
But did you know despite being this successful, Zac eagerly wants to work with Priyanka Chopra once again? For the unfamiliar, Efron and Chopra previously worked in Baywatch, seven years ago. Although Priyanka wasn't in the lead role, her role as Victoria Leeds was quite pivotal. However, recently in an exclusive interview with India Today, Zac shared his excitement for Priyanka.
The Hollywood actor couldn't hold his excitement and shared that working with Priyanka would be so much fun. Sounds like the duo had quite fun while filming Baywatch, isn't it? Zac also gave a big shout out to Chopra, and said, “Man, I know Priyanka really well. She is this amazing actress. She is fantastic.” Not only with Priyanka, but Zac also showed interest in working in Bollywood films.
Zac Efron recently visited India with John Cena to promote their film, Ricky Stanicky. The comedy-drama has been streaming on Amazon Prime Video since March 7. The story of Ricky Stanicky revolves around three friends - Dean, JT and Wes, who make up a fake medical problem for Ricky Stanicky (John Cena) to their wives, so they can all go to Atlantic City on vacation. But their plan becomes chaotic when one of the friends, JT’s (Andrew Santino) phone goes dead while his wife is having a baby. Now they have to convince their wives that Ricky Stanicky is a real person, as they all are driving the three friends crazy to introduce Rickyw with them. Things get even crazier when John Cena, who's the actual Stanicky, takes the plan way too seriously.
