Kapil Sharma has become one of the most beloved comedians in the country, and the huge fan following his talk show, The Kapil Sharma Show, is proof of that. A number of stars have graced Kapil’s couch, and the comedian has never spared a chance to bowl them over with his witticisms. But recently, it was Kapil’s turn to be in the hot seat, when his mother and Akshay Kumar shared some laughs over the comedian’s childhood antics.

In a promo for an upcoming episode of the show, Kapil’s mother Janak Rani, is seen making an appearance on the show, and Akshay makes the best use of the fact. He asked her if she used to make Kapil use his skills to make guests laugh, and she replied that he was not a very naughty child, which Akshay found hard to believe.

Kapil’s mother then went on to reminisce about how the former used to leave packets at people’s doorsteps at nights. When they found them in the morning, they would immediately jump to the conclusion that it was black magic. Janak used to get very frustrated, being well aware that her son was the culprit.

Kapil’s mother also revealed that the first film she ever saw in theatres was 1978’s Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki, which her husband took her to see on the big screen. She hilariously recalled how she almost believed that her husband was planning to kill her, taking her out at night. On Kapil’s question about what went on in her head when she watched the film, she adorably replied that she had thought about how her husband looked much more attractive than she did.

The Kapil Sharma Show is available for streaming on SonyLIV.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar was last seen in Raj Mehta’s Selfiee, which also starred Emraan Hashmi.
