Kapil Sharma recently welcomed the judges of Superstar Singer 2 including Himesh Reshammiya, Javed Ali and Alka Yagnik on his show. The host cracked a joke and mentioned that he is inviting the three leading singers as contestants on The Kapil Sharma Show, who will be judged by the stand-up comedian himself along with Archana Puran Singh. And later, he made fun of Archana and his own singing as well.
Moving forward, the Indian comedian cracked another joke on the show about Alka coming on the show without Udit Narayan, who follows her everywhere. The Bole Chudiyan singer laughed and said that it's an endless topic. Alka Yagnik has sung over 9,000 songs in more than 300 films and most of her hit duets are with Udit Narayan. The two are a popular singing duo from the 90s.
After a few more jokes, Alka got praised for loving the kids, while Javed got teased for getting love from the mothers of those kids. The Tip Tip Barsa Paani singer revealed that Himesh made her meet one of her biggest fans, who was the father of one of the contestants, but he got nervous on the show during the meet.
Meanwhile, the topic came back to Udit Narayan and Himesh asked Alka if the veteran singer was notorious as he is today, when they both were working on the songs of Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, to which Alka replied that he was scared at first, but when they got famous, he opened up. Later, she complains that Kapil made her talk about Udit Ji so much, and the comedian teased her for being loved by the Narayan family. The famous comedian also welcomed Udit's son, Aditya Narayan, a singer and host, amid the ongoing show.
