The Kapil Sharma Show: 'Paise se zyaada kaam karwaya,' says Kangana Ranaut on working in Dhaakad

Kangana Ranaut recently visited The Kapil Sharma Show to promote Dhaakad. Apart from her, Arjun Rampal, Sharib Hashmi and Divya Dutta also graced the show. Host Kapil Sharma praised the actress for the characters played by her in films like Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Thalaivi and now Dhaakad. Meanwhile, Kangana claimed that she worked harder than what she was paid for in the movie.

Kapil welcomed the Dhaakad actress on the set of his comedy talk show to promote her movie. He praised Kangana for the choice of characters in all her films and said that 'She's On Fire' suits perfectly on her as she always does some badass roles like Jhansi ki Rani, Jayalalitha and now Dhaakad.

He further asked her how the idea of Dhaakad came along, to which the actress replied that all the credits go to the director of the film Razneesh Razy Ghai. "As an audience, whatever he likes to watch, he made a similar kind of film for the viewers as well. He chose me for this role and thought of me as a capable person for a female spy character, I'm really thankful to him," she added.

"Kangana, we saw you in different kinds of looks in the trailer, were you getting paid on the basis of how many looks you've carried in the movie," asked the host, while the actress funnily replied, "Inhone jitna paisa diya usse zyada kaam karwaya (They made me work more than what I was paid for)."

She further revealed that the most difficult action sequence was shot in the coal mines at night.

Directed by Razneesh Razy Ghai, the espionage crime-thriller flick has been backed by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai under the banners named Sohum Rockstar Entertainment, Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films. Dhaakad is set to release on May 20.
