The Kapil Sharma Show | Saif Ali Khan reveals why he isn’t on social media: I tried joining, but I couldn’t find an id

Actors Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte recently visited the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film, Vikram Vedha. In the midst of the jokes, banter and revelations, Kapil asked the question netizens have been urging to ask Saif for years. He said“I’ve not seen any (social media) accounts of yours, though there are many fake accounts under your name. Are you not social, or can you not get a user id?” Saif responded that while he has tried joining social media, he couldn’t find a suitable id, as there are already many under his name.

Kapil then quipped that Saif was not missing out on much, as social media is quite stressful. Saif agreed, adding that one has to lie a lot online. That’s when Radhika interjected that Saif is unable to lie, but Saif joked, “No, no, I do lie. But you can get stuck on social media; you have to praise this person or someone else. I am happy as I am.” Kapil approved, answering that he wishes he could employ the same mentality.

Kapil next asks Saif why his Vikram Vedha co-starHrithik Roshan has not joined him on the show. Ever the smooth talker, Saif says that since they were instructed by the producers to divide their energy, Hritik was promoting the film elsewhere. He cheekily reminded Kapil not to get too excited, since if everyone came on his show, his TRP would increase to such an extent that he would be forced to pay GST!

Vikram Vedha, starring Saif Ali Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Radhika Apte, released on September 30. While it didn't have the best luck at the box office, it is still going strong three weeks later.

As for his upcoming releases, Saif will next be seen in Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, which also stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Sunny Singh. The actor plays Ravana in the epic saga.
