The Kapil Sharma Show has finally returned. On Thursday, a teaser trailer for the upcoming season of the wildly famous TV programme emerged, revealing which main characters will be coming back to the reality comedy show. Sumona Chakravarti, Kiku Sharda, and Chandan Prabhakar accompanied Kapil, who was shown laying on a hospital bed, in the short video.

Kapil is seen in the video wearing a medical robe and sporting bandages over his head. He is looking astonished as he wakes up to see several people around him while resting on a bed. Although he remembers his father-in-law played by Ishtiyak Khan, Gudiya portrayed by Kiku, and Chandu performed by Chandan, Kapil attempts to ignore his wife, Sumona. Glancing at his wife, he asks Yeh behenji kaun hai (who is this sister). When the others revealed that it was his wife, Kapil, who appeared to be retrieving his memories, got furious. As Gazal, played by Srishty Rode, comes with a bouquet of flowers, Kapil's condition soon gets better.

As he screamed darling and hurried toward Gazal, Archana Puran Singh enters and grabs Kapil by the collar and reveals in Hindi, "aap apanee patnee ko bhool gae hain, lekin aapako usakee skootar ka nambar yaad hai, (You have forgotten your wife, but you know her scooter's number)."
