The Kashmir Files had a remarkable second day, with total collections of Rs. 8.25 crore nett, thanks to the addition of many screens around the country, particularly in mass markets where the film had not been released on day one, and this is expected to rise much further.

As per reports in Box Office India, on day two, Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Delhi, Uttar Pradesh stood out, with 300 percent growth compared to 150 percent growth across India. As a result, the Mumbai circuit grossed more than Rs 3 crore nett on day two, up from Rs 1.25 crore nett on day one.

The film's performance in East Punjab is likewise spectacular, and other areas are catching up, especially as more screens are installed. The film has made 11.50 crore nett in its first two days, and Sunday is expected to be even bigger, as multiplexes in all major cities appear to be nearing capacity. The audience has mostly embraced the film, and the possibilities are endless. 

The Kashmir Files' two-day collections are as follows:

Friday: Rs 3.25 crore approx.

Saturday: Rs 8.25 crore approx

TOTAL: Rs 11.50 crore approx

While trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted that The Kashmir Files were a success, with business more than doubling on Day 2. He shared that the film showed a 139.44% increase, which is the highest ever growth on day two since 2020. Adarsh added that in the East, West, North, and South, the box office is on fire. The Kashmir Files will not be stopped. Saturday: Rs 8.50 crore, Friday: Rs 3.55 crore. Total: $12.05 million in business in India, which is fantastic.

Vivek Agnihotri wrote and directed The Kashmir Files. The film, which was produced by Zee Studios, depicts the departure of Kashmiri Hindus during the insurgency in Kashmir. Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi feature in the film. This is the second instalment of Agnihotri's Files trilogy, which began with The Tashkent Files and will conclude with The Delhi Files.
