Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and actor Anupam Kher are on the ninth cloud after their latest outing The Kashmir Files was widely praised. The historical thriller film also stars Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi in major roles. Not only from the fans and critics but the movie has also been getting praised by the big celebrities of this country. Meanwhile, Yami Gautam has also praised the film and urged the audience to watch the movie.

After watching The Kashmir Files, filmmaker Aditya Dhar, who is also a Kashmiri Pandit, got emotional and shared a heartfelt note on Twitter unveiling his own experience from the incident. 

Dhar, who is married to Bollywood actress Yami, tweeted an emotional note that reads, "You might have seen numerous videos of Kashmiri Pandits breaking down in the theatres after watching #TheKashmirFiles. The emotion is real. It shows how long we kept our pain and tragedy repressed as a community. We didn’t have any shoulder to cry on and no ear to hear our pleas."

After a while, he posted another tweet mentioning that The Kashmir Files is a brave attempt to show the truth. The Uri: The Surgical Strike director added that the Kashmiri Pandits, who suffered the great loss during the Exodus of Kashmiri Hindus tried moving on hoping that time will heal our wounds, but it certainly didn't.

Yami retweeted her husband's emotional post and mentioned that after getting married to a Kashmiri Pandit she understands the horrors that these people have gone through during such a tragedic time. The actress added that a lot of people around this nation are still unaware of it. The Uri actress also urged the people to watch and support the film.

Meanwhile, celebrities like Kangana Ranaut also lauded the film based on such a crucial and sensitive incident.
