The Kerala Story OTT release date: Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah drops a MAJOR update | Exclusive

The Kerala Story, starring Adah Sharma is one of the highest-grossing films of 2023. Many people were looking forward to its OTT debut after its successful theatrical run concluded. But according to various media reports, the producers were unable to find a reliable streaming partner, which caused the digital premiere to be delayed. However, no official announcement of the same has been made till date. 

Now, recently, when OTTplay got the opportunity to exclusively speak to Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the producer of The Kerala Story, he gave us some inside details about the OTT release of the film. When asked when do we expect the film to release on any streaming platform, the producer said: "The Kerala Story has been a very special film. It has broken a lot of industry norms. So as far as the OTT release is concerned, we are trying to do something which is out of the ordinary. Toh bas thoda sa aur waqt se dijiye, hum aapko kuch surprising news denge, aisa hume lag raha hai."

So it seems that the producers are planning on something big for their special film, let's wait and watch!

The Kerala Story shows how Keralan women were coerced into becoming Muslims and recruited by the terrorist organisation Islamic State (IS). Hemled by Sudipto Sen, also starred Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani in significant roles, in addition to Adah Sharma. On May 5, 2023, the Vipul Amrutlal Shah-produced movie released in theatres.
