The upcoming movie, The Kill Room, directed by Nicol Paone and starring Uma Thurman, has released its official trailer. The dark comedy centres around an art dealer who becomes involved in a money laundering scheme. In the trailer, we are introduced to Patrice (Thurman), an art dealer who strikes a deal with a hitman to sell her art. Reggie, the hitman, and Gordon, his boss, are in need of a way to launder their illegally earned money, and they turn to Patrice for help. She agrees to help them sell their art, while they assist her in acquiring new pieces for her gallery. However, as the trailer progresses, we see Patrice become embroiled in problems that force her to confront the criminal underworld. Along with Jackson and Thurman, The Kill Room stars Maya Hawke (daughter of Thurman), Joe Manganiello, Amy Keum and Liv Morgan in prominent roles.

The dark comedy film will be released in theatres on September 29, a day later than initially scheduled.

It had been almost 20 years since Jackson and Thurman had last collaborated before joining the cast of Kill Room. They were previously seen together in Quentin Tarrantino's Kill Bill: Volume 2. However, both actors had been involved in significant projects during the intervening years. Notably, Tarantino, who directed Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill, had worked with Jackson on multiple occasions in films such as Django Unchained and The Hateful Eight. Meanwhile, Thurman was last seen in the superhero comedy My Super Ex-Girlfriend, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and Red, White & Royal Blue.
