Matthew Vaughn says doing a reboot of Wolverine with a young actor would be something he would enjoy doing

Matthew Vaughn, who has helmed the three Kingsman movies, has now revealed that he would enjoy doing a Wolverine reboot and would cast a younger actor to play the mutant.
Vaughn is no stranger to the X-Men franchise, having previously directed X-Men: First Class. When asked which X-Men member he would pick for a team if he could do a reboot at a promotional event for The Kings Man, Comicbook.com reports that Vaughan replied, “There's only one that I didn't get to play with properly and I would have loved to... Hugh Jackman was so good and did such a good job doing it. But to cast the young (Wolverine), the reboot, that would be fun,”
The filmmaker added that it could take a whole different direction from Jackman’s performance and that Jackman as Wolverine hit it out of the park and that of all the characters, Wolverine weirdly attracts him.
Vaughn also said that while Tom Hardy would have been a good fit as Wolverine, Taron Egerton could do the role in his sleep and that Aaron Taylor-Johnson would also be a good choice to play Wolverine.
Vaughn has previously also cast younger actors to play the X-Men characters, in X-Men: First Class. The movie is considered to have given a second lease of life for the franchise and remains a fan-favourite movie.
Vaughn cast James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence as younger versions of Professor Charles Xavier, Magneto, and Mystique in the movie.
One of the most recognised characters from the franchise, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine/Logan has been a constant presence in the X-Men movies, but only had a brief cameo in Vaughn's X-Men: First Class.
