The Lady Killer: Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar start filming in Manali

Arjun Kapoor says he is delighted to begin filming his next project, The Lady Killer, for which he will travel to Manali. The actor will be traveling to these breathtaking hills for the very first time in his life, which he believes are a “fantastic backdrop” for the film.

Arjun shares that he wants to explore the city where he’ll begin filming because it’s his first visit.

For this project, Arjun says he is excited to work with actress Bhumi Pednekar for the first time on screen. He proclaims, The Lady Killer is amongst the most exciting scripts he's ever written, and he is ecstatic to be working with Bhumi and director, Ajay Bahl, on this.

Arjun continues that his part in the film is quite intense, and it's something he has never done before. It's “multi-layered”, and it will give him the confidence to try something “different” on camera in a different setting with new people.

The narrative of a small town playboy who falls in love with a self-destructive beauty and embarks on a whirlwind affair is told in The Lady Killer.

This film is directed by Ajay Bahl, who has previously directed films such as BA Pass and Section 375. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R Singh.
