The film mark the Tamil debut of Urvashi Rautela and the film debut of Saravanan

The audio and trailer launch of the filmmaker duo JD and Jerry's upcoming film The Legend will be held at a grand event in Chennai. The film marks the debut of Hindi actress Urvashi Rautela in Tamil and the acting debut of Saravanan, the owner of Legend New Saravana Stores. Music for the film is by Harris Jayaraj.
The film's music label shared the same on its microblogging page, "We are super thrilled to announce that the grand audio & trailer launch 🚀 of #TheLegend is all set to happen on 29th May 2022, 6️⃣PM onwards at Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium. Stay tuned for a memorable night 💥 A @jdjeryofficial directorial A @Jharrisjayaraj musical 🎶 (sic)."
In the meantime, Urvashi Rautela will be attending the 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival, for the poster launch of the film. The actress had said in a statement, "I'm truly honoured to mark my debut and to be invited by one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world, for the launch of my multilingual film, The Legend. It's certainly the most important film festival to me and in terms of worldwide impact."India is the Cannes Country of Honour this year in its 75th year of Independence.
The film, has an ensemble cast including Prabhu, Vivekh, Vijayakumar, Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, Kaali Venkat, Mayilsamy, Latha and Kovai Sarala. The Legend is produced by Saravanan himself. While cinematography for the film is by Velraj, editing is by Ruben. Art direction is being handled by SS Moorthy and dialogues are by Pattukottai Prabhakar. The film, we hear, will be released in five languages — Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
Urvashi is gearing up for her Hollywood debut along with 365 Days actor Michele Morrone. The film, produced by Netflix and Tomasz Mandes, will be directed by Barbara Bialowas.
