Seven new recurring cast members have been added to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Prime Video for the upcoming second season, which is now in the UK's development.

Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen Atour, Ben Daniels, Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle, and Nicholas Woodeson are the cast members. For season two, the part of "Adar," the orc chieftain, has been recast and will be filled by Sam Hazeldine.

British-Nigerian actor Gabriel Akuwudike has starred in the beloved series Hanna (Prime Video). Ridley Road (BBC) and War of the Worlds (FX/Disney+) are two further TV credits. He has acted in movies like Sam Mendes' 1917 and Toby Haynes' Brexit for HBO.
Yasen Atour is well known for his "Coen" role in The Witcher's second season on Netflix. In the Netflix series Young Wallander, he played the part of Reza Al-Rahman and was a regular. He was the executive producer, star, and director of the movies Good Intentions and When the Screaming Starts.
Ben Daniels has been in several television shows with recurring parts, including Jupiter's Legacy (Netflix), The Crown (Netflix), The Exorcist (Hulu), House of Cards (Netflix), and Law & Order: UK (ITV) as "James Steel" and "Father Marcus Keane," respectively. Amelia Kenworthy is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. She acted in several plays while she was a student at RADA. She played Shila in Against, Julia in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Anna in Spring Awakening, and Ollie in Pomona. She has additionally acted in the short films Messenger and IRL. The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will be her television debut.

At the National Theatre and Duke of York Theatres, Nia made her theatrical debut with Neil Gaiman's The Ocean at the End of the Lane.
