Seven new recurring cast members have been added to The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power on Prime Video for the upcoming second season, which is now in the UK's development.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has been bringing audiences together ever since its debut to experience the beauty and wonder of J.R.R. Tolkien's beautiful Middle-earth. With more than 100 million viewers worldwide, season one is currently the most popular original series on Prime Video. This genuinely global sensation attests to the unifying power of effective narrative.

Vernon Sanders, Head of Global Television at Amazon Studios, said in a statement that they welcome these fantastic actors to their fellowship and look forward to telling more amazing Second Age stories in season two.

Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen Atour, Ben Daniels, Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle, and Nicholas Woodeson are the cast members. For season two, the part of "Adar," the orc chieftain, has been recast and will be filled by Sam Hazeldine.
