One of the most popular series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been renewed for another season by Amazon Prime Video. The fifth season of the comedy-drama series will, however, be the final one. 

Written and directed by Sherman-Palladino and Palladino, the show is created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive produced by Daniel Palladino. The show boasts of an ensemble cast that includes Emmy Award winners Rachel Brosnahan, Tony Shalhoub, Alex Borstein, Luke Kirby and Emmy-nominee Marin Hinkle. The show also features Michael Zegen, Kevin Pollak, and Caroline Aaron, among others. 

The show has been entertaining the fans for nearly five years with its humour and drama. Now, the show will have its final season soon. The production for the fifth and the final season is already underway in New York City.

"This series has meant so much to Prime Video and the effects of its success will be felt long after its final season. I can’t wait for fans and our worldwide Prime Video audience to savour each moment as we embark on the culmination of this groundbreaking and unforgettable series,” she says.

It is indeed a groundbreaking and unforgettable series and it is evident with the mass of fans the show has created. The show has won 20 Emmy awards with 54 nominations in its first three seasons. The lead actor Rachel Brosnahan also won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series and several other accolades for the series.

Meanwhile, season 4 of the series will release on Amazon Prime Video on February 18, with two new episodes dropping every Friday for four weeks.
