In the upcoming film The Marvels, Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, one of the most powerful Avengers, has taken back her identity after the oppressive Kree stole it and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, due to unanticipated effects, Carol is forced to bear the responsibility of a universe that has become unstable. Her talents get intertwined with those of Jersey City superfan Kamala Khan, also known as Ms. Marvel, and Carol Danvers' estranged niece, now serving as S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, when her responsibilities require her to travel through an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary.
