Keanu Reeves, who returns as Neo in The Matrix Resurrections recently reflected on how director Lana Wachowski was different behind-the-scenes while the team shot the film.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said that in the previous three films Wachowski was "more behind the monitor" but ‘still hands-on.’ 

However, during Resurrections, she was "participating more with the movement of the camera, and more interested in doing than rehearsing." He revealed that the team "barely rehearsed, if at all."

The Matrix Resurrections will see members of the original cast and Wachowski collaborate once again after a gap of 18 years. She has directed from a screenplay she co-wrote with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. She is also producing with Grant Hill, who has previously executive produced Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.

Besides Reeves, the film stars Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Jessica Henwicks as Bugs, Neil Patrick Harris as a psychologist, Eréndira Ibarra as Lexy, Jonathan Groff as an agent, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Sati.

The Matrix Resurrections releases in cinemas on December 22. Before the film hits Indian cinemas, Warner Bros will re-release is on December 3, according to India Today.
