The actor is winning hearts with his performance in the Disney+ Hotstar series, The Night Manager.
Sometimes an actor needs to play a certain part for the public and business to recognise his or her talents. The Night Manager cast Aditya Roy Kapur in the role, and everyone is looking at him differently now. The compliments directed at the actor give him a boost. He doesn't understand this because he has always seen himself like this.
The sequel to the Aditya, Anil Kapoor, and Sobhita Dhulipala-starring series finally premiered on Disney+ Hotstar not too long ago, and it has already proven to be just as popular as the first. The Night Manager is a stylized spy thriller starring Aditya as Shaan and adapted from the 2016 British original of the same name by creator-director Sandeep Modi.
During an interaction with Mid Day, Aditya attributes the shift in public perception to Sandeep's vision and the series' excellent writing. He has always had faith that everything would fall into place perfectly. The actor hadn't gotten to do anything like that in a theatrical release, if one considers the tone of the screenplay and the way Sandeep mounted it.
When asked if the actor would be cast in more dramatic roles now that the industry tends to recycle what works, Aditya replied that he doesn't want to get caught in another espionage job, so he won't. But he would be delighted to make something that is conceptually and stylistically similar. The goal is for them to feel this way about their future projects as well. But he is not satisfied with merely virtual conflicts. Aditya would like to do more love stories.
Aditya, who has reunited with his Ludo (2020) director, Anurag Basu, for Metro... In Dino, has granted his wish. He can't wait to work with the director again, as it's always a trip when the filmmaker is involved. Aditya said that a fresh day always dawns, and he gets ready to have a good time.
