The Out-Laws trailer: Adam Devine believes his fiancée Nina Dobrev's parents have looted his bank in this Netflix comedy

In the trailer for the Netflix action comedy The Out-Laws, Adam Devine meets Nina Dobrev's parents, Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin, and realises he has a lot to learn about her family life.

Owen (Devine), a bank manager, finally meets Parker's (Dobrev) parents and begins to believe that they may have looted his bank the week before the wedding in this feature film from director Tyler Spindel. Releasing on July 7, the film also stars Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery, and Blake Anderson.

In the trailer, Adam is heard telling Nina that he thinks her parents robbed her bank. He is quite sure he told her mom while he was drunk that they knew the voice-activation code to get in the vault.

In later scenes, Pierce and Ellen are seen showing Adam the basics of gun safety as the gang is forced to work together to retrieve $5 million. As Adam struggles to carry out their plan, Pierce jokes that they should just think of how many terrible decisions they had to make to get to this moment in time.

Devine and Brosnan's comparisons to James Bond, the spy figure Brosnan memorably portrayed in four films for the long-running franchise, are among the trailer's most memorable moments.

In simpler words, Adam Devine's Owen Browning (a bank manager) is engaged to Nina Dobrev's Parker (a fashion designer). The infamous Ghost Bandits rob his bank during the week of his wedding, and he accuses his soon-to-be-in-laws (Pierce Brosnan and Ellen Barkin) of being responsible.

Evan Turner and Ben Zazov wrote the screenplay for The Out-Laws, which Spindel directed. Ben Ormand, Brendan O'Brien, Isaac Horne, and Barry Bernardi serve as executive producers. Both Adam Sandler and Devine have produced films.

The film is premiering on Netflix on July 7, 2023.
