The Pet Detective out on OTT: Here's where to enjoy Sharaf U Dheen-Anupama Parameswaran’s comedy film

Sharaf U Dheen's most recent film, The Pet Detective, is currently accessible on OTT. The film directed by debutante Praneesh Vijayan went live on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium today (November 28).

The streaming rights of The Pet Detective, which debuted in theatres on October 16, were previously confirmed to have been acquired by Zee5. On November 28, the humorous film was released on the platforms with English subtitles. In addition to Malayalam, it is available for streaming in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi on ZEE5 and OTTplay Premium. Other Sharaf U Dheen starrers that are available on OTTplay Premium include Padakkalam, Bougainvillea, and Anjaam Pathiraa.

The Pet Detective made its theatrical debut alongside Navya Nair's Paathirathri and Rima Kallingal's Theatre. These movies, on the other hand, were not as successful in theatres as The Pet Detective. With its impending digital distribution, The Pet Detective is now expected to reach a larger audience. What is The Pet Detective all about?

Tony Jose Alula takes on his father's Mexican-based detective agency in an attempt to win over his lover Kaikeyi Menon's father. He finds that investigating crimes involving missing pet animals is his calling, despite having a dull start as an incompetent investigator. However, as part of one of his investigations, he is soon pulled into a perilous kidnapping case involving crime syndicates and a murderer. The main focus of the movie is whether or not this is the turning point in his career as a detective and change his as well as others' lives forever.

This comic drama, which is supported by Sharaf U Dheen himself, features significant roles by Vinayakan, Vinay Forrt, Anupama Parameswaran, Shyam Mohan, and Joemon Jyothir.
