The Railway Men: R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyendu, Babil Khan team up for YRF's OTT series

Yash Raj Films has just unveiled the intense teaser of The Railway Men. The upcoming OTT series, which is based on the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, stars R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon, Divyenndu and Babil Khan. 

The teaser video begins with a man heavily breathing in the background. Later, a few lines prompt on the screen which says that on 2nd December 1984, the world’s worst industrial disaster took place in Bhopal, India that is known by a term called The Bhopal Gas Leaks. “You know the killer,” a sentence says. The video also reveals that the forthcoming series is about the saviours of the tragedic event. It reveals the first look of all four actors who can be seen in an intense look wearing masks on their faces. 

The teaser then unveils the full name of the series called ‘The Railway Men- The Untold Story Of Bhopal 1984.’

In the late hours of December 2, 1984, methyl isocyanate gas leaked from a pesticide factory owned by the American Union Carbide Corporation, which poisoned more than half a million people and killed more than 5,000.

The production giant took the teaser video and shared it on Instagram with an outstanding caption that reads, “Courage. Grit. Resilience. Saluting #TheRailwayMen - the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy through @yrfentertainment's 1st OTT project being directed by @shivrawail

Streaming - 02 December 2022 (sic).”

YRF also shared the first looks of the four brilliant actors in one poster on Instagram and wrote, “Heroes who saved scores of lives! First Look of #TheRailwayMen - a tribute to the unsung heroes of 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy. @yrfentertainment s 1st OTT project being directed by @shivrawail (sic).”

YRF Entertainment’s first OTT project, The Railway Men, is to be helmed by the debutant director Shiv Rawail and will stream on December 2, 2022 as a homage to humanity and colossal sacrifice in the wake of a crisis that shook the nation.
