Although it is the time where star kids are at the forefront in Bollywood more than ever, it is also time where there are constant comparisons when it comes to them. Where Logout actor Babil Khan is under constant pressure of being legendary Irrfan Khan's son and having to put up with the comparisons, even Beyond The Clouds actor Ishaan Khatter is compared to his half-brother Shahid Kapoor. Soon to be seen in The Royals, Ishaan sees this comparison a little differently, for he has no complexes on being compared to Shahid. In fact, Ishaan has maintained that he grew up idolizing the Haider actor and thus, he has only love for his brother. Here's everything he said during his recent interview...
"I don't shy away from it and don't have any complexes when people compare me to my brother (Shahid Kapoor). It's only natural because we're brothers," Ishaan told Zoom, pointing out how Udta Punjab star Shahid Kapoor started 15 years before him and became a bonafide star. "I've grown up at an impressionable age loving and idolizing him," the actor said.

Despite the comparisons, Shahid and Ishaan have mutual respect as two individuals and artists doing their best to survive and trying to thrive on-screen as well as in real life. Although Ishaan is aware that he shares similar mannerisms and gestures like Shahid, he feels it's only natural because they are brothers.
"I don't overthink it or try to separate myself from it because otherwise I wouldn't be truthfully expressing myself. As long as I'm my own person and am drawing it from inside and not outside, I'm good," Ishaan shared.

Describing him as 'young, hot and sexy,' The Royals director Priyanka Ghose had recently shared in an interview with TimesNow that it is what Ishaan Khatter is in the real sense. She spoke about him being sassy and having a fashion taste as good as his The Royals character Maharaj Aviraaj Singh. Although sad it wasn't tapped into so far, Ghose was happy to see how Ishaan's portrayal on the show was exactly how she imagined it to be. The series, featuring Bhumi Pednekar as the female lead, is a romantic-comedy TV series from Netflix that would be out on May 9.
