Zeenat Aman hits us with the truth in The Royals teaser and we can already predict it's going to be one of the best moments in Ishaan Khatter-Bhumi Pednekar's series

Ishaan Khatter introduces himself as Aviraaj Singh, Maharaja of Morpur. This prince is ‘polo-playing, pleasure-seeking, party prince, heir to the royal throne of Morpur.’ He meets Sophia Shekhar, CEO of Patel Group, who is more ‘high-functioning, tightly wound, and an ace in her profession.’ They instantly hit it off, and sparks fly. But, is this 'royal' man enough to go against his family to marry the one he loves? Or is there more than what meets the eye? Here's the teaser...
Aviraj Singh is entitled and he admits to it when confronted by Sophia. He, however, hits her with 'bewakoof and phenku.'
Even though it is a love story, this one has a time limit, and both the people involved probably know it already. Thus, against her trying, he pushes her away like she doesn't exist in his world and he is ashamed to be around her.
She questions him if he would choose the easy way out, and he informs her of how he's just a Maharaja for the namesake but cannot do as he pleases. Of course, it's his complicated family baggage that is the reason behind the statement. Zeenat Aman's statement clears the air behind his statement. When asked what do the family members do, Aman answers, "Darling, hum Modhpurs hai! Hum kuch karte nahi hai, hum bass hai." This statement clearly talks of the riches gathered without laying a finger.
Of course, they need Sophia much more than they would like to admit. Since she needs them too, comes a match made out of capitalism. Of course, one can expect moments of the dreamy palace life and moments ‘under the royal sun.’
Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, The Royals also features Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Vihaan Samat, Chunky Pandey, Dino Morea and Milind Soman in pivotal roles.
