The Royals Twitter Review: Disappointed fans call Ishaan Khatter and Bhumi Pednekar's show 'average' but praise Sakshi Tanwar

Netflix's regal rom-com series, The Royals, stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ishaan Khatter in the lead roles. It was one of the most-talked-about projects, but has been getting mixed responses since its release. The plot follows the unique love story between a modern-day CEO and a royal heir. As soon as the series landed, fans took to their X (formerly Twitter) handles and shared their reviews, and they are seemingly disappointed.

The Royals on Netflix has been getting mixed responses from fans on X. Most of them mentioned that the plot was weak and also it's a 'waste of talent.' However, some fans praised the acting of Sakshi Tanwar.

One fan said, "#theroyalsnetflix is an average show ..can watch it once !! 1st time I’m watching #IshaanKhatter he is definitely best part of the show along with the actors who played his siblings !! Love their bond and banter." 

Another commented, "@bhumipednekar is unbearable in #theroyalsnetflix !!! Fake accent, low quality acting and zoned out look- remaining cast deserved a better actor. Kudos to @sumukhisuresh for playing her role aptly."

Fans seem to have liked the acting of Sakshi Tanwar. One of the tweets read, "I'm against smoking but damn what the fuck #SakshiTanwar is smoking weed(it's not real) in #TheRoyals and that too for the first time Damn woman I'm in love with this cool character of Sakshi aka Paddy."
