The team of Maha Samudram has some exciting news. A second single from the upcoming action romantic thriller will be out soon. The song, which is titled Cheppake Cheppake, will be released on September 6.

In a surprise announcement, Sony Music South tweeted the news about the release date for the second single. “A melody you'd fall in love with! #MahaSamudram's next single #CheppakeCheppake out on SEP 6th,” wrote the Twitter handle. The post was immediately shared by Ajay Bhupathi, the director of the movie.

The makers of the movie dropped the first single for the movie titled Hey Rambha Rambha in August. The song was an upbeat number released as a tribute to beloved actress Rambha, and became a hit among fans. Maha Samudram has music composed by Chaitan Bharadwaj.

Directed by Ajay, who made a mark with his directorial debut RX 100, the film stars Siddharth, Sharwanand and Aditi Rao Hydari in the main roles. The movie also features Anu Emmanuel, Jagapathi Babu and Rao Ramesh among others.

Bankrolled by Sunkara Ramabrahmam under the banner of AK Entertainments, the movie has been shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu languages.

The makers of Maha Samudram had released a poster last week, which featured Siddharth, Sharwanand and Aditi Rao Hydari. The intense poster, which saw the two actors face-off in the foreground while the actress was seen in the background, also revealed the film's release date.

Touted as a romantic action drama, the movie will release in theatres on October 14.
