Still wondering what is Munawar Faruqui-hosted The Society all about? Does it have Weekend Ka Vaar like Salman Khan? Let us explain the concept and answer your questions

Now that Munawar Faruqui-hosted The Society's first weekend is over, all who have been curious to find out what the reality show is all about have more clarity on it. If not, let us explain to you what it really is (even when a bigger twist awaits already!), The Society, which commenced on July 21, works on three basic factors - social standings, rules and tasks. There have been a lot of questions on whether the reality show is anything like Salman Khan's Bigg Boss, Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp or Korean drama Squid Game. Here's answering all the questions, by discussing what the concept really is like...
The Society consists of various standings. It consists of The Royals, The Regulars and The Rags.
Like the name suggests, The Royals get royal treatment. Right from exotic food to getting the luxury to feast first, sleeping on a queen bed and getting chairs to sit on, they have the best of facilities inside the vault.
The Regulars get a bunk bed with sleeping matress and benches to sit on. They get to taste basic food, and get an opportunity to eat after The Royals.

The Rats are at the very bottom, and are served with leftovers only if they are lucky. There are days where they have to go hungry. They do not get a mattress, and are expected to sit on the floor to wait for their turn to eat, if they even get that opportunity. It is basically everyday struggle for The Rags. This is what Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp looked like.

Every day presents a new opportunity for the contestants to change their ranks. Miss Rule aka Shreya Kalra presents a new task for these contestants. Munawar Faruqui also does so, only over the weekend. The contestants are otherwise left with time to gossip and fight through the day. The tasks include those we have seen on Bigg Boss - from going bald to staying awake holding an object, it is but a deja vu of Salman Khan's show. The only twist is that this time, the evicted contestants get a rather royal treatment from men in masks who escort them out of the show. These men in masks are the only thing inspired by Squid Game, and there are no 'deadly' tasks involved as such.
While Munawar does not have a tag on it like Salman Khan, The Society does have a similar concept. The week is handled by Miss Rule aka Shreya Kalra, Munawar Faruqui does turn up on weekends for new tasks.
Although Salman Khan has Akhada, Munawar has Bazaar, where the contestants risk their chips. These chips determine their position in the society. Depending on the task, the contestants' fates are decided.

Interestingly, justice is served instantly on The Society, and Munawar does not wait for the weekend to give advice to the contestants. The section just does not exist on the show and Munawar lets the contestants experience what the real society is like.
Munawar Faruqui has left a hint that his reality show is almost coming to an end, unlike Salman Khan's Bigg Boss which lasts for three months straight. This, too, can be considered among the newer concepts on the show.
