The soul-stirring trailer of J Baby starring Urvashi and Attakathi Dinesh is out

The trailer for J Baby, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Urvashi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday. The film is set to hit big screens on March 8 on the occasion of Women’s Day. The film is directed by filmmaker Suresh Mari in his directorial debut and also stars Attakathi Dinesh and Lollu Sabha Maaran in prominent roles.

The makers of J Baby released the trailer for the film on Wednesday. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer starts by introducing Urvashi and informing us that the film is based on a true story. We see Urvashi walking sternly, while the supporting characters narrate the antics of the protagonist. Urvashi is shown to be a trouble-inviting woman who earns the wrath of her family and her neighbourhood. After she goes missing, her sons take on the mission to find her. The trailer promises the film to be high on emotions and drama.

Urvashi, who has done about 700 films so far in her illustrious career spanning over decades, was last seen in Tamil in Priyadarshan's Appatha. While Suresh Mari has helmed the film, J Baby was shot by cinematographer Jayanth Sethu Mathavan, with Tony Britto composing the score. The editing of the film was handled by Shanmugam Velusamy.

J Baby is written and directed by debutant Suresh Mari, with the film backed by Pa Ranjith’s banner, Neelam Productions. It is also jointly produced by Abhayanand Singh, Piiyush Singh, Saurabh Gupta, Aditi Anand, and Ashwini Chaudhary. The film will release on March 8.

The upcoming film will be a family dramedy, that revolves around the emotional and entertaining relationship shared by Urvashi and Dinesh. The duo will be playing a mother and son in J Baby. The film has cleared the censorship formalities and had received a clean U certificate. It is to be noted that J Baby is the first Neelam Productions project to get the certificate.
